The employee we are perhaps most proud of is our practice manager, Brittany Sherer. Britt started with DCL all the way back in 2014 at the front desk. Not surprisingly, she comes from a background of generations of firefighters and community service. With DCL, Britt was looking for a practice where she would be exposed to patients of all ages, building long-term connections with our community’s families.
Within a couple of years Britt quickly became the natural leader of the office through her work ethic, can-do attitude, sense of humor, and energy. In her own words:
I pride myself in making sure not just the patients, but also staff, feel like family. I strive to create a positive work and patient environment… We are a TEAM that comes together for our patients. I enjoy coming to work every day because I truly work with the most caring providers and staff. I’m also not just the practice manager, but also the biologic coordinator for the office, I love the challenges I have to go through with insurances companies to ensure our patients are getting the medication they need to treat lifelong skin illnesses…
Britt has provided our practice with so much joy and great memories. Best of all, we’ve seen her family grow from her wedding in 2017 to the birth of her two beautiful daughters over the years. She cherishes spending time with her family, getting out in nature with her girls, traveling, and exploring our local restaurants and wineries. If that isn’t enough, Britt has a habit of getting up at 4:45am and getting in a workout before heading to the office! She is a huge part of the growth and success of DCL over the past decade!
