Meredith Mahen, PA-C is our newest physician assistant who actually started her dermatology career as a medical assistant with our practice after obtaining her BS degree in Health Sciences and Biology at James Madison University in 2017. With prior experience as an EMT, she impressed us with her work ethic, patient care skills, and intellectual curiosity as an MA at DCL. We knew to keep a close eye on her career path as she moved on to complete her PA training, also at James Madison University in 2021, and immediately offered her a position at DCL thereafter. She has received further specialized training under the guidance of our board-certified dermatologists and adds to the tradition of the finest PAs at DCL. Her areas of interest in dermatology include acne and psoriasis.
While out of the office, Meredith enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and gardening.
